Jennifer drew inspiration for this print from St. Brigid, Ireland’s first female saint. Brigid herself was named after one of the most powerful figures in ancient Celtic belief—the goddess of fire, whose gifts were said to be song, craftsmanship, and poetry.

The print’s rich colour palette is influenced by Harry Clarke’s stained-glass window of St. Brigid at St. Mary’s Church in Ballinrobe, County Mayo, Ireland, echoing its luminous tones and intricate artistry.
